Modern Pumping Today in their July 2012 issue. Richard’s informative article about Cornell’s Cycloseal® design explains the unique deflector vane design and how they work in conjunction with impeller back vanes to create a cyclonic action.
Cycloseal® helps remove solids and abrasive materials from the seal area while purging air and gas pockets, extending seal life and eliminating need for venting or water flush. Cycloseal® is available on all Cornell solids handling pumps and many of our clear liquids, hot oil, and food handling pumps.
