Winners Announced: Photo Contest Over ...

After a grueling internet battle, a winner has surfaced. Congratulations goes out to BBA PUMPS for their winning photo of a 24NNG that was used for dewatering.

Cornell Pump would like to thanks ALL its participants and the entries they supplied. Overall, it was a great contest with lots of diverse applications. After tallying up all the votes, we have our first, second and third place winners:

Puck Custom Enterprises: A Comparison of 3 Pumps

Here's a great post from Nancy over at PUCK CUSTOM ENTERPRISES. Today, they are covering an example of how to read Cornell pump curves properly and they also throw in a few different variables. They do say "These are very basic and incomplete examples. Estimates were made on Head loss through the hose. Estimates were made on NPSH Required. Terrain, elevation, and temperature were not considered. MANURE WAS NOT CONSIDERED."

Registration for Cornell's 2011 PUMP SCHOOL has been closed because we are overfilled. This should be a great year for PUMP SCHOOL. Thanks in advance to all those attending and putting this great event together.
