Cornell Hosts Military Warriors for Columbia River Fishing

Cornell Pump is proud to help support the Military Warriors Support Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. The foundation's mission is to provide support for USA combat wounded heroes and Gold Star Families as they transition out of the military and into their new civilian life. Programs include home donation, academic and employment assistance, as well as recreational activities.

Cornell Pump hosted four military warriors for a day of fishing on the Columbia River. Designed to help reintegrate the heroes back into civilian life, the event was meaningful AND fun-filled.  From the photo you can see some were very successful in their quest to land a great fish--all were successful in honoring the veterans' and their families dedication.

For more information about the foundation, please visit www.militarywarriors.org/about.

Cornell Pump will be hosting a golf tournament in Camas, Washington on Saturday August 2, 2014 in support of the foundation. Contact Cornell Pump if you are interested in playing or being a sponsor. ALL proceeds raised will be donated to the foundation.
