Cornell Pump Offers Popular ‘Buy a Pump, Get a Jacket’ Promotion

For more than a decade Cornell Pump Distributors have eagerly anticipated ordering a pump in the late summer or early fall to take advantage of the “Buy a Pump, Get a Jacket!” promotion. Offer runs through August 31, 2012. Jackets featured are from popular outdoor retailer Cabela’s, with retail value of more than $80 dollars.

Clackamas, Oregon – August 10, 2012 – Cornell Pump Company once again offers our popular “Buy a Pump, Get a Jacket!” promotion. This promotional effort, taking place in late summer or early fall for more than a decade, is an eagerly anticipated event. Distributors placing an order with Cornell Pump Company from August 10 through August 31, 2012 are eligible to receive a jacket for each pump ordered.*

The jackets are rain wear; fitting, given the rainy season Cornell’s Clackamas, Oregon based factory is anticipating in the fall. From renowned outdoor outfitter Cabela’s, the jackets feature a snappy Cornell logo. Retail value of the jackets is more than $90 dollars each.

Most Cornell Pump distributors proudly wear their jackets, and retire the last year’s jacket when the new year’s jackets become available. Many also use the jackets in their operations as recognition gifts to staff, and thank you gifts to customers. Receiving a jacket for each pump ordered by the deadline makes giving them away as premiums popular.

“We’ve been receiving inquires since spring, asking when the promotion would start,” said Cornell Vice President of Sales, Marcus Davi. “It is a very popular promotion. We encourage all our distributors to take advantage and order a pump prior to the August 31, 2012 deadline.”

Promotion ends August 31, 2012 and all eligible purchase order forms should be returned to Cornell Pump Company by September 15, 2012.

*Other stipulations: One jacket per pump; order multiple pumps and receive multiple jackets. Jackets will be shipped ground transport to recipients. All jackets should be delivered by October 5, 2012. First come, first served; every effort will be made to have the jacket in appropriate size. If jacket is not available, another jacket of equal value can be substituted.
