Cornell Gives Away Amazon Fire HD Tablet at RETA

Derek Petersen, Cornell Pump industrial manager presents an Amazon Fire HD tablet to Scott Boleyn, of Ace Refrigeration. Attendees at the RETA show just concluded in Milwaukee could enter to win by stopping at the Cornell booth.

Cornell showed our innovative Arctic King series and our robust CB series of refrigeration pumps.

Pump School Schedule for 2015 Presentations

The Schedule is out for Cornell Pump's 2015 pump school. If you are attending pump school this year, please refer to this schedule to locate times for particular presentations.

The schedule lists the activities and presentations for each day of pump school, starting with breakfast, and including times for breaks, lunch, dinner, bus loading, and group times for the factory tour.

Pump School Registration Closes Tonight

We have hundreds of attendees signed up for our 69th Annual Pump School. If you were thinking of attending, official registration closes tonight, September 8, 2015.

With basic and advance classes, Pump School helps you understand centrifugal pumps, and hone skills.

Session 1 will cover basic hydraulics and include system design, pump selection as well as construction materials, installation and troubleshooting.

Session 2 will cover advanced topics including NPSHA/R calculations, metallurgy, energy efficiency calculations, system curves for pumps in parallel and in series, motors, mechanical seals, and life cycle costs.

Day two will involve hands-on training at the Cornell factory in the morning, with additional training or seminars in the afternoon.

Breakfast and lunch are provided both days, plus an opening reception before classes start on Monday night, and a hosted dinner on Tuesday night.

Closed on Labor Day

Cornell Pump Company will be closed on Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday September 8, at 7 a.m. PDT.


We look forward to a busy September, with Pump School September 22nd & 23rd and an opening reception on the 21st.   Plus WEFTEC in Chicago September 28th through 30th, with distributor dinner on Monday the 28th, and RETA in Milwaukee from September 29 to October 2.

Cornell Pump Featured in Pumps&Systems August 2015 Edition

Cornell Pump is highlighted in an article by Chris Dunn [Crisp Industries] and Bill Schlittler, Cornell Mining Market Manager. The article examines how a switch from vertical turbines to Redi-Prime centrifugal N series pumps saved more than $1.5 million a year at a Wisconsin sand mine.

Pump School training held for Northwest Clear Waste Association

Northwest Clear Waste Association held a WEF-affiliated training this week. Dave Young, NW Regional Manager and Ron Aceto, Municipal Market manager presented on proper installation and troubleshooting to participants. Lyle Wiese, Quality Manager, did a hands on demonstration of pump assembly and seal replacement for attendees as well.

Manure Expo 2015

Cornell Pump wrapped up a successful North America Manure Expo in Chambersburg, PA. The show's theme was more 'More Manure than you can handle.'

While we're very busy, we handle all the manure questions that came our way!  The third generation cutter was promoted strongly for aggressive plugging.
