Employees with children 18 or under were encourage to bring
their children to our annual Santa Party. There, the kids enjoyed scrumptious
waffles from Portland food cart sensation Waffle Window, and got to personally

Regional Pump School in Hartford, CT A Huge Sucess
In conjunction with Blake Equipment, Cornell Pump held a
Regional Pump School in Hartford, Connecticut on December 3rd, 2014. More than 60 municipal
water and waste water operators took part in the class. Pump curves, system
design, and proper installation were presented. And the class
participants got to see Ted Wiese, Quality Manager and Ryan Bothell, Assembler
disassemble a pump. The class loved being able to ask Ted and Ryan technical
questions about the construction.
Thank you again to MDC for the space to host the event in
Hartford, and to Blake Equipment for their efforts in making the school a huge
success.
We’ll have several regional pump schools in 2015; we’ll post
opportunities on our blog at blog.cornellpump.com. Our annual Cornell Pump School,
held over two days in September at the Cornell Factory, has trained more than 12,000 participants
since 1946. visit the Cornell website for more information about Pump School.
